Out of town? Working late? Don't make your pet wait.
Just give us a call, and have a friendly, professional pet sitter walk Max, bring in the mail, water the plants, etc.. Does Fluffy need medication while you are out of town? We do that too. Our pet sitters are trained by the American Red Cross. They are all pet CPR & First Aid certified.
What is a Pet Sitter and Why Should I Use One?
A pet sitter is a professional insured/bonded individual and/or team that comes into your home and cares for your pets while you are away. By utilizing a pet sitter, your pet(s) gets to stay in the comfort of their own home, and avoids possible exposure to illness and stress from a boarding situation. Your pet(s) daily routine will be followed, allowing enough time at each visit for feeding, fresh water, exercising, playtime, scooping litter, and cleaning cages. In addition, a pet sitter provides the security of making your home look “lived in” while you are away by offering residential services, such as bringing in the mail/paper, watering plants, adjusting lights, and bringing garbage cans in and out.
Professional pet sitters should be a member of a pet sitter organization, and be able to present solid references at the time of the consultation. We are pet sitters because we are passionate about animals, and you should see an immediate connection with your pet sitter and your pet(s). If you pet sitter is not comfortable around your animals, you may want to consider an alternative to pet care.
A pet sitter is not ideal for everyone. Some animals do better when they are around other animals, or not left alone at night. In those cases, you may want to explore the idea of having someone stay overnight in your home. We do not provide overnight services, but we do offer referrals to sitters who will stay overnight.
